On April 23, Mark was guest of honor at the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival in Paris. He accepted the Jules Verne Légendaire Award which was given to The Empire Strikes Back, George Lucas, and himself.
Also, Mark signed the Luke Skywalker Collector's Stamp and a personal object of choice for French fans that day, profits going to an organisation helping endangered species.

The 7th Annual Spike Video Game Awards were held December 12 in Los Angeles. Mark was nominated in the category Best Voice for his performance as Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum. The gala was opened by the trailer for the sequel game Arkham City, in which Mark will reprise the role, too.

The convention was held in San Diego from July 23 to July 26. Mark signed autographs at the Official Pix booth on Friday and Saturday. Also on Saturday, he was at a panel for Batman: Arkham Asylum.
