Summary

Eugene Banks spent his childhood jumping from one foster family to the next, always meeting indifference, violence, even abuse. He has always wished for a father. He is emotionally unstable and loses all of his remaining balance as he finds a letter of his late mother, revealing the name of his father. To his horror, Eugene learns that his father is a famous singer, that he is married and has a small son over whom he pours his love. Eugene freaks, deeply wounded, and begins to stalk the man, driven by one question - why?
