Mark on Stage

Mark has spent many years doing on and off-Broadway plays. The passion goes back to his school years, where he's been on stage very often. Since I was born in 1983, the first play I could actively follow as a fan was his most recent stage turn, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks. Find below plenty of goodies from its Miami and Broadway run. There are pictures, fan accounts, and, and, and. In the side bar, you can see all the plays Mark did in the 1980s, with detailed info to follow as soon as I can manage. If you have seen him live on stage or have anything to share, be it trivia, photos, merchandise or whatever, pretty please get in touch with me.

Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks

Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks was written by Richard Alfieri. Mark played Michael Minetti, for the first time in the play's run at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami alongside Rue McClanahan. From March 18, 2003 to April 13, 2003 they delighted audiences with their performances.

After the Florida run, the play prepared for Broadway, but had to overcome a delay as Rue McClanahan decided to leave. Polly Bergen was cast as Mark's new partner on the stage.

On October 7, 2003, the play premiered at the Belasco Theater in New York, with its final performance on November 23, 2003.

Following the links above, you will be able to access a multitude of information. Criticism, press articles, impressions of people that have been there to see it, pictures from on and off stage, and much more.
