Summary
Young Ian Keefer is found wandering the woods aimlessly, obviously in shock. The doctors at the hospital are clueless as to what might have happened to the teenager, until a magician stages a show for the patients. During a pyrotechnical trick, Ian freaks. For the first time there are hints as to what he might have witnessed that scared him so. Touched by the boy's fate, the magician decides to investigate. He travels to the small village Ian lives in. There he meets with silence and hostility. Soon he has the suspicion that a dark secret is to be found in this seemingly innocent town, a secret that Ian has stumbled upon inadvertently.
