Meeting Mark: Marisa
Story
I attended the Film Festival in Livermore. He was eating dinner in a booth with 6 or 7 people. I didn't recognize any of them except for his wife. He was very approachable, but I wanted to wait until he was done with dinner to ask him for his autograph.
I noticed that his people were getting ready for something, so I went into the restaurant and stood next to his table. There were a few other people around, so I just waited until he was done talking to them. Then it happened. He turned to me and I shook his hand. I said, 'Mr. Hamill, I'm a big fan of yours.' Not knowing what else to say, I handed him The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and asked him to please sign one for me and one for my sister (who is an even bigger fan than me).
He was very nice and even signed both of them. I told him I loved his comic book. He said thank you. Then he drew a heart on the Death Star on the cover of one of the DVDs and laughed as he noticed. I couldn't stay for the movie because I was busy but I am so glad that I got to meet him! He was great!
