Past Updates
Find past updates of Just The Best below. I need more space on the main page, so everything but the four most recent updates will go here from now on. That way, you won't miss anything even if you don't get around to checking on the site for a while.

Hello, Hamillites!
I don't have much time today, but I wanted to give you the latest heads-up on Mark's appearances at Comic-Con International in San Diego, two weeks from now (July 23-26). Yes, appearances as in plural!!! Here's what I have dug up so far:
Autograph Session
Mark signs for Official Pix at their booth, Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25.
Award Presentation
According to the IMHFC newsletter, Mark is going to present a Will Eisner Comic Industry Award together with
Bill Mumy during the gala ceremony on Friday, July 24 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. More details on the event here.
Panel "Batman: Arkham Asylum"
On Saturday, July 25 (8:30 to 12:15) Mark will be at a panel for a sneak peek at Batman: Arkham Asylum, in which he voices The Joker.
With him will be, among others, writer Paul Dini and the voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy. Mark's panel will be followed by a panel discussion of the
Director's Cut of Watchmen (no Mark, I think).
So, isn't this awesome???? I hope there will be many, many photos and YouTube videos and if you go to Comic-Con and meet Mark and/or see him at the panel or the award presentation, let me know!

Greetings, Hamillites!
BIG NEWS everybody! Official Pix reports that Mark will attend Comic-Con International 2009 and sign autographs at their booth! Comic-Con 2009 will be held July 23 - 26. Find all info on officialpix.com and comic-con.org.
University is keeping me very busy, so research for the Voiceography is extremely slow right now. I still managed a bit of an update there. For starters, there is an addition to The Little Mermaid. Adapted to the new layout with photos of Mark's characters are: SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, Hollyrock-A-Bye Baby, and Red Planet.
Mark TV has been updated. There is no other interesting news right now, but I'll keep researching his voices and with time there will be lots of additional information on all of them.

Hello, Hamill fans!
Sorry I was away last week. There was a weekend session at university. Impertinent, these university folks, hu?
Anyway, I'm back with you, even though there's no big news to report. I have, however, started work on the Voice section. It's a bit more time consuming than I anticipated. I'm doing research for every show and there has been new info for some. For now, I've gotten around to adapting the sections for Jeannie, Wizards, Batman: The Animated Series, Gabriel Knight, Commander Toad in Space, The Little Mermaid, and The New Batman Adventures.
Once I have all sections adapted, I will add episode summaries, additional info, and screen caps wherever I can. As always, any help is much appreciated. Keep your eyes open for mentions of Mark in credits when you watch cartoons, animated movies or play video games! :) And if you can provide me with screen caps of any of these shows, I'd be forever grateful. You can get in touch with me via the contact form.
That said, check out Mark TV. I have dug up some more resources, which allows me coverage of more channels.
Enjoy, and 'til next week!

Greetings, Mark fans!
Excuse the delay, but I had to finish an assignment for university yesterday. Today is a holiday in Germany and so I'm here to present you with the latest update.
Big thanks go to Scott Weller from STAR WARS AFICIONADO Magazine for pointing me to a Mark interview on the British show Ask Aspel from May 20, 1980. It's a very informative interview and it's quite cool to hear the first mention of Episode VI when it was still to be Revenge of the Jedi! Enjoy the clips: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
After I don't know how long, the entire Filmography has finally been adapted to the layout. The sections for the single movies are all new and shiny, with cover art, purchase tips and more. In the next couple of weeks I'll tackle the Voiceography.
Mark TV is also up to date. US fans can look forward to a showing of Mark's guest appearance on Just Shoot Me!, to his voicework on Pinky & The Brain and Superman: The Animated Series, and more. Fans in the UK area and Germany should also take a look.
Enjoy and I'll see you next week!

Hello, Hamillites! I hope this update finds you well.
We're starting with a piece of voiceover news. I learnt that Mark has voiced for a new video game by the name of Darksiders. He is voicing The Watcher, the not-so-welcome companion of the player-character. You can find plenty of information on the game on the official site at darksidersvideogame.com.
As far as the site is concerned, I have adapted 20 more movie sections to the new layout! This includes updated information on DVD and VHS releases. I hope within the next two weeks I'll be able to adapt the rest of the sections, as well as the three Wing Commander sections.
Before you go, check out Mark TV. Especially fans in the UK area and Germany should take a good look and write down some rare appearances.
See you next week with more Mark!

How are you today, Hamill fans? I hope all is well in your corner of the world. I couldn't be here last weekend, but I'm back today.
I learnt of another new voiceover credit of Mark's. He voiced Turtle in the full-length, straight-to-DVD animated movie Tigger & Pooh and a Musical Too. More info as soon as I find it.
You will find that I have adapated the sections for Reeseville, The Big Red One: The Reconstruction, Comic Book: The Movie, Taco Lips Now and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back to the new layout. If you look under Spotlight to your right, you see that with every time you load the Main page, another one of Mark's projects gets the limelight. In that vein, I found that finally the Taco Lips Now episode of Son of the Beach is available on DVD. Mark is so funny as Rod Petrie!
I updated Mark TV. For US fans gems include the A & E Biography, a Joker appearance, the classic SW trilogy and Mark next to Christopher Reeve in Village of the Damned.
Fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland are treated to Hamilton, Village of the Damned, When Time Expires and Mark's intriguing guest appearance on The Outer Limits.
Fans in Germany can catch him in The Big Red One, The Raffle and they can see a very young Mark in an episode of The Streets of San Francisco.
I hope you can catch some of these and I will continue to brush up the project sections. Until next week!

I know it hasn't even been a year since my last new layout. But as destiny wanted it, I've just now learnt some new CSS/HTML and I just had to implement it immediately. How do you like it? Before I tell you more of the new layout, first some Mark news.
If you want to, you can witness Mark's voicework on the big screen this month! Mark has done a voice for Battle for Terra, which premiered in US theaters May 1. He plays a Terrian Elder named Orin. Find out all about the movie at battleforterra.com.
Mark also had a short guest appearance on NASA's Irrelevant Astronomy. The episode is called Gravity and the Great Attractor and aired April 23. You have to watch until the very end to hear Mark's brief cameo. That said, the show is interesting for itself. I, at least, hadn't known anything of that before. Download it for your computer or your iPod here.
Let's go on. I learnt that Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released in a special Collector's Edition. This Collector's Edition doesn't only include cool Batman memorabilia, it also includes a Behind the Scenes DVD with interviews - also a Mark interview! So, if you want to get the game, think about getting the Collector's Edition!
Other Voiceover news - you can now pre-order Mythic Journeys and Quiet Earth reports that Conan: Red Nails seems to be slated for release in December 2009. Quantum Quest will premiere September 2009. All of this and more in the Project Tracker!
I hope you like the new design of the site. Browsing the sections, you'll get an idea what is expecting you in the future. The site is now much more interactive, which I hope will be to your liking. The major pages have all been adapted. If you look up detail information on movies and voices, you might still get basic HTML pages (i. e. no background, no fancy styling). This will change soon. For now, bear with me. The information is all still accessible and it doesn't look too horrible. Just not good. ;D
Before I forget it, I updated Mark Hamill TV. Fans in the UK/Ireland area should definitely check it out, but there are also updates for US fans and Hamillites in Germany.
If you have any feedback on the new layout, contact me. And it'd be nice if you left a couple of words in my guestbook.

I'm back! After nearly a month of battling the mysterious computer bug from hell and finishing a university paper, I'm at last back on Just The Best and can give you the weekly Mark fix you so missed.
Well, the first news item is more of a Nathan fix, actually. Check out this March 30 interview with Mark's oldest son Nathan at starwars.com. You might also want to check out what SW voiceactor Corey Burton had to say about meeting Mark.
Also at starwars.com, you can listen to some special radio programming material as it was scripted for a 1978 release, featuring a very early interview with Mark.
For all fans of the Batman franchise, this piece of news might be interesting. On the newly released Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology, Mark resumed the voice of The Joker for one of the DVD extras - Batman: The Complete Robin Storyboard Sequence. Kevin Conroy was also on hand to voice Batman, so this is a real treat! Read all about the DVD at Just Press Play.
I continue to fine-tune the website. If you visit the TV Schedule, you'll notice some of that. I've also added a Latest Video to the Main page and I finally managed to adapt Cons & Events to look good in Mozilla Firefox. Go me! ;) Both that section and the Pearl Ticker have been updated with the most recent information I have. On the Index page, there is now a Random Affiliate feature.
I'm working on more - ain't I always? If you have any comments or suggestions, you can use my all-new contact form from now on. Until next week!

I'm still working on fixing my computer, but I didn't want to leave you without Mark news for long.
BIG news, too! Mark announced that "Black Pearl" will be coming this year, hopefully! Yes! I so cannot wait. I'm so excited to find out which actors he casted and how it'll compare to the comic book! That said, go and listen to Mark's own words in this video interview on realTVfilms.com. He gave this interview on March 8 when he was presenting an award at the LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival.
You might have also noted that there's a new "Latest Photo". *points* Well, there are more where that's coming from! Go and check out Getty Images, WireImage, and Film Magic for more photos of Mark at the LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival 2009!
We're not quite done yet. How about a new trailer for "Arkham Asylum", with Mark's chilling Joker voice?
I gather people are getting extremely excited about this game; not a gamer myself, I keep wishing it was an actual animated movie. :)
Now, scribble down when Mark's on TV next and you're all set up for the next week.

Hello, Hamillites!
You know how every time you THINK you've found your rhythm, something comes up to completely wreck your schedule? Well, my computer has caught a nasty bug and since I'm computer-illiterate, all I can do is wait for help. In the meantime, I can only do the most basic of stuff on the computer. Not much Mark-surfing possible. :(
I have SOME THINGS for you, at least. Look here for some more photos of Mark at WonderCon:
And here are some more, courtesy of the 1st Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment at whitearmor.net:
Better yet, there is also some video footage of Mark! Hopefully all of this is still online:
Now, I've decided for a movie section design. Check it out in the all new Reeseville section. How do you like it? If you have any suggestions for improvement, let me know!
Due to my computer issues, I couldn't do any surfing for Mark TV. I hope this is going to be fixed soon... *sighs*
Now, I hope there were photographers at the L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival and Mark did not dodge them. ;D
Also, JTB has a new affiliate: Welcome to Ana de la Reguera.org!
See you soon!
